3. Tour Bookings and Payments

When booking a tour with Emerald Journeys:

• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
• A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour price is required to secure your booking.
• Full payment is required at least 60 days prior to the tour start date.
• For bookings made within 60 days of the tour start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Prices are subject to change until your booking is confirmed.
• All prices are quoted in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• 60+ days prior to tour start date: Loss of deposit (20% of total tour price)
• 30-59 days prior to tour start date: 50% of total tour price
• 15-29 days prior to tour start date: 75% of total tour price
• 0-14 days prior to tour start date: 100% of total tour price (no refund)
• All cancellations must be made in writing via email to [email protected].
• We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unexpected cancellations.

5. Modifications to Tours

Emerald Journeys reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary or services when necessary due to weather conditions, transportation issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to provide services of equal or better quality if changes are required.

6. Travel Requirements

It is the responsibility of each traveler to:

• Ensure they have valid travel documents (passport, visas, etc.) required for entry to Ireland and any other destinations included in the tour.
• Arrange appropriate travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.
• Inform us of any special requirements, medical conditions, or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.

7. Limitation of Liability

Emerald Journeys acts as an agent for accommodations, transportation companies, attractions, and other service providers. We are not liable for:

• Any injury, loss, accident, delay, irregularity, or damage to persons or property arising from any act, omission, or negligence of any service provider.
• Any changes, delays, cancellations, or other modifications to tours due to weather, traffic, labor disputes, mechanical breakdown, or other circumstances beyond our control.
• Any expenses incurred by travelers due to such changes or cancellations.

Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid to us for the tour in question.

8. Conduct During Tours

Travelers are expected to behave in a respectful and responsible manner during tours. Emerald Journeys reserves the right to terminate the participation of any traveler whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or detrimental to the enjoyment of other travelers, with no refund provided.

9. Photography and Testimonials

Emerald Journeys may take photographs or videos during tours for promotional purposes. By participating in our tours, travelers grant us permission to use such images on our website, social media, and promotional materials without compensation. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your tour guide.

10. Privacy

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
